Los Angeles and Orange County Video Production News for Summer/Fall 2009: VISIONSOUND continues to maintain a busy schedule shooting and producing for several great clients. Recent projects include, interviews and b-roll featuring Lakers' Guard Kobe Bryant for DKC PR on the release of Kobe Bryant's NBA 2K10 video basketball game. ¶ Other work includes Airbus Americas, interviews and b-roll for USAA, GreenDog, and press conferences and b-roll for Genedics Clean Energy. ¶ We also second unit produced an independent feature where we brought in best boy, gaffer, key grip, sound, dolly grip, PAs, script supervisor and more. VISIONSOUND arranged the large green screen sound stage in Burbank and brought in 3 tons of lighting and grip, a dolly system and crane, mobile air conditioning, props, scenic and craft services. The three day shoot was a success and the director was very happy with the results. ¶ For Italian company Direct Marketing, VISIONSOUND and sister company VISIONSOUND cast 9 male and 9 female on camera talent to test and describe the benefits of a new hair care product for an infomercial being aired throughout Europe. In addition to casting and crewing responsibilities, VISIONSOUND provided scripting, location scouting, directing and production design. The direct television spot was shot at an exclusive mansion in Newport Beach, CA. The large location gave us a variety of locations to shoot multiple interviews. ¶ 
VISIONSOUND has been providing producing and camera crew services on several local and out of state projects, including USAA, AirBus North America, DYS, Genedics Clean Energy and many more. ¶ For agency JWT (New York) and Pretty Bird Pictures of Santa Monica, videoCREW shot a satirical behind the scenes spinoff film of a comedic Huggies commercial.   (Go to videoCREW.com for videos and more news!).  ¶ For CBS, VISIONSOUND once again shot behind the scene footage for a photo shoot featuring Entertainment Tonight's Mary Hart. VideoCREW has been involved in several fun projects for interactive customers Verizon, Dollar General and Denny's Restaurants. ¶ Other projects include an action packed behind the scenes shoot of CBS's "Hot Women of CSI" photo shoot at the beautiful Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel; opening of the LA Philharmonic for sponsor CITGO oil; a special live web cast of several dental surgeries using a remote rig to support our HD cameras; documentary video shoots covering the problems in the Middle East; a multi-camera HD infomercial for Mona Vie drinks; an executive interview at Mitsubishi Motors; b-roll and interviews with the great staff at Los Angeles' famous Orthopedic Hospital and Children's Institute; a very special interview with the talent at Activision; interviews with 90210's Jason Priestly, Dodgers' Tommy Lasorda and Tom Cavanagh for an upcoming film celebrating NHL's Canadiens' 100th anniversary; a fun reality style shoot featuring ABC TV's Dancing with the Stars' Shirley and Mark Ballas which was featured on Entertainment Tonight; a series of interactive videos for Denny's restaurants; promotional videos for Pediatric Diabetes; a fun series of Web advertisements for Symantec; political documentaries for the upcoming presidential election; radio and television spots for a large real estate auction firm and a really fun behind the scenes video on a floor installation with Picket Fences actor Justin Shenkarow, among several other turnkey productions, interviews and b-roll projects. ¶
Los Angeles and Orange County Video Production News for Summer 2008: 2007 was a banner year for VISIONSOUND. And the first half of 2008 looks to be the same. Many people don't realize, but we also write produce, shoot AND edit video. In fact, most of our clients have us turnkey their whole production! First off, our ongoing work in TV and radio production has been keeping the staff very busy recording, editing and shooting DRTV spots. Major corporate and non-profit organizations have been calling on us to produce inspiring videos for their meetings and events. A major aerospace firm just signed on to produce quarterly communications presentations.
